Working Parties

The Marketing Working Party oversees the development and implementation of a local, national and international profile of the Joondalup Learning Precinct.

On a local level the Joondalup Learning Precinct has been promoted though participation in the Festival of Joondalup for the past 4 years. In 2002 the Working Party developed the Precinct’s Logo which was launched at the 2003 City of Joondalup Festival.

The Marketing Working Party has also been involved in marketing the Precinct through activities such as the ECU Career’s Expo and school tours of the Precinct.

To support these activities the Working Party has developed promotional material such as the academic pathways brochure, letterhead, information folders, flyers and the website you are currently viewing.

The Resource Sharing Working Party was established in order that resources across the three campuses were utilised at a cost effective rate.

The facilities are available to each of the partners in order to assist where resource shortages exist.

The campuses enjoy a cross sharing of classrooms, training rooms and other facilities on a cost free or cost recovery basis.

The Professional Development Working Party is responsible for providing staff development opportunities for staff across the three campuses.

An example of this has been the Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Teaching (Education), offered by Edith Cowan University, which has enabled staff from all three institutions to further develop their skills in delivering education and training programs

The JLP Mentoring Program Working Party is responsible for coordinated management of the mentoring program. This working party promotes the program to respective participating organisations, facilitates mentor/mentee matches based on information provided by individuals, and provide ongoing guidance and support to the program.
